Dr. Regina M. Mabenga

Dr. Regina M. Mabenga is Chief Executive Officer of Health Systems and Services Initiative (HSSI). A public health and applied research professional with more than 13 years of experience, she has worked across monitoring, evaluation and learning, strategic information, research, digital health, data systems, and programme performance within donor-funded, government, public health, development, and learning programmes in Zambia.

Dr. Mabenga has extensive experience in applied research, programme evaluation, data analytics, dashboard development, digital health solutions, data quality assurance, and translating evidence into practical programme and policy recommendations.

She holds a PhD in Public Health, Master of Public Health (MPH), Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Management Strategy, and degrees in Development Studies and Information Science. As Chief Executive Officer, she provides strategic direction to HSSI and leads its research, learning, digital health, and health systems strengthening agenda.
